The Economic Diplomatic Network of the Embassy of the Netherlands organizes a regional trade mission, led by

Cornelis van Rij the Dutch Ambassador to Turkey, to

Trabzon and Samsun

16 – 17 – 18 November 2015

Located at the Black Sea coast of Northeastern Turkey, Trabzon and Samsun are the most important cities of the region with many possibilities for Dutch companies.


Why Trabzon and Samsun?

Advanced sectors in fishery and agriculture in Trabzon and health and agricultural sector in Samsun. Both regions are known for tourism

Many opportunities in the maritime and shipbuilding sector

Logistically well connected and strategically located as a gate to e.g. the Caucasus and Central Asia

Excellent investment climate, Trabzon has 4 organized industrial zones, 7 small industrial sites and also 1 free zone & Samsun has 5 organized industrial zones, 14 small industrial sites and 1 free zone

The trade mission will open doors to new business partners and influential persons in the private and public sector.

There will be a networking reception, meetings with the mayor and the governor, an optional matchmaking program and visits to some of the regions’ prominent companies.

By joining this mission you will discover new regions, meet investment organizations and through matchmaking you could find new business partners.

Participation will be free except for accommodation, flight cost to and from Trabzon/Samsun and (the optional) matchmaking.
